In this thread we will post resources where we can recruit more members and also if anyone of you have any great ideas on how to make this site more popular, please post them!
Here's some of our ideas A promo video, it would be an eye catcher for any pivot wrestling animators looking for motivation. Post your animations on youtube, it will increase the number of recent pivot videos and it can potentially create curiosity in others. Find sites like wfigs where you can recruit members but avoid bigger sites like twitter because pivot wrestling has a very small demographic and it wouldn't be worth it if we advertise against bigger sites.
Here's one of my ideas Screw all these wrestling federations, why don't we create our own federation? It would be a lot similar to the days of SWF, if any of you remember. Lets introduce role playing and other interesting scenes in this pivot community.

SWF Ruined many members ability to fucking animate none of that shit. Also to make pivot popular like it once was will ever be harder to do then ever. This generation of people are not down to put in the work to make a solid animation. Its over but you can still try just my opinion.

This generation of people are not down to put in the work to make a solid animation. Its over but you can still try just my opinion. I think the main thing that killed it was the war that broke out. Dustin, I'm sure you'll agree when I say that having different pivot sites that craped on the other one scared some users away. That's what took the fun out of it for me. I didn't want to go to war with you guys, and I know Nuke didn't want to either. Now, hopefully we can use this one forum to help the community grow. So far I'm thinking maybe.... -Like you said Dustin, Videos. They help a ton. -As I said in the chabox, maybe we can use twitter to our advantage. I'm not a big fan of it, but... - One Account for the Forum
- One account for each of the active members; something like @pfwtylor or @pwfaquaberry
- We can use our accounts to cut Kayfabe Promos. Like @pwftylor: At the next PPPV #Whaterverthefuckitwillbe, I'm coming for you @pwfaquaberry!
- We can use pictures of the tweets in the PPPV Videos. It'll give us that modern twist we need to set this forum apart from everyother one before us.
-I think the main thing is just helping the beginners out. 100% Positivity always. If we can help a new animator become great, they'll stick around, be active, maybe invite others. That's all I've got for now. Thoughts?

If you guys wanna send me a bunch of animations, I can make a video. My CZW TOD video got 11,000 views last year and so far 4,000 this year. I'm just not sure where you could post them to get the most views.
We ran into similar problems 10 years ago with the fire pro animation scene. It was a core group of us, but died out due to a lack of interest. People want to animate but then see how much work goes into it and then back away from it.

I am more than happy to promote this site but I ain't exactly a big shot on YouTube. I made an animation recently and somebody told me about this website and now here I am. I guess what we can do is, comment on Pivot animation videos and make a comment about this site with a link. I love making animations on Pivot, it's a joy and I hope this site increases it's popularity but it will take some time. I'm in for helping.

I think these are all great ideas. We can make videos on youtube to advertise the site, and we can find a lot of animators on yt and try to get them to join. And we could use something like twitter to hype up the site and what's happening on it. If a few people do it, we could probably attract at least some different subscribers & followers. And if people join, we have to keep them coming back somehow, maybe send out an email every once in a while reminding people what's going on, or if there's a pppv, remind them to hand in, and to vote or something.

All of these ideas are resourceful.
But we need to make pivot not look retarded, it just looks stupid looking at a bunch of stick figures fighting. We need to upgrade to sprites.
That means I need to get back to graphic designing. lol

I'll post a thread after I make this post asking for all of us animations to upload a zip file or post a link of animations you'd like to use so anybody who wants to make a video is free to do so. BTW, This forum may be about pivot, but feel free to keep posting your fire pro animations. It'll definitely help no matter how many view you already have. Some views is better than none. Feel free to promote this forum all you want! This applies to everyone as well. I think these are all great ideas. We can make videos on youtube to advertise the site, and we can find a lot of animators on yt and try to get them to join. And if people join, we have to keep them coming back somehow, maybe send out an email every once in a while reminding people what's going on, or if there's a pppv, remind them to hand in, and to vote or something. I'll be making an official Youtube and Twitter Account for the forum. It'll help! Also we can make pivot look less retarded, it just looks stupid looking at a bunch of stick figures fighting. We need to upgrade to sprites. That means I need to get back to graphic designing. lol You're the first person I've ever seen say Pivot looks retarded. Don't get me wrong, I've seen Rains animations using sprite, they look awesome. No doubt about it. But to try and get everybody to transition from stick figures, to sprites... I just don't see it happening. Great ideas, all of you.

It can happen. You're just not thinking about the bigger picture right now. Someone can help create a spirits lack and we can gather more animators who don't use pivot and get them to use it. Although it could backfire, but its worth a chance right? Let's just get a couple of people to try out.
